The Nadler Kensington Hotel is a four star hotel that specializes in 'affordable luxury' with 'no hidden extras'.
The hotel was previously known as base2stay and opened in 2006.
All
of the 65 rooms have been refurbished recently, and all have a
mini-kitchen which includes a sink with a Brita water filter tap for
drinking water, a fridge, a microwave, kettle, and all crockery and
cutlery required.
As the building is a converted townhouse, there are many different sized rooms available spread over seven floors.

Facilities
As
well as the mini-kitchen in every room there is free wifi,
air-conditioning, and a 24-hour Reception and Concierge service. The
hotel does not have any dining facilities but there are vending machines
for drinks and snacks, plus the hotel has connections with many of the
local restaurants in the area.
Location
The nearest tube station is Earl's Court and the hotel is just a few minutes walk from there. (Do see the TARDIS
by the tube station.) There are lots of restaurants in the area, as
there are many hotels, and it's also easy to walk to the South
Kensington Museums: The Natural History Museum, Science Museum and The V&A.
[post_ads]My Stay at The Nadler Kensington Hotel
I
stayed in a King Twin Room with my daughter and we both received a
really good welcome at check-in. The Reception area is relatively large
and is a good space for waiting for friends or reading for a while.
We
were helped to our room and I noticed the new carpets throughout the
building. Our room was clean and stylish - really, just what I hoped
for. Our bedroom window had a wooden Venetian blind and full-length
curtains for night-time. I had asked for a quiet room as my daughter
goes to sleep quite early and we had a room overlooking a private
courtyard.
Our room had the mini-kitchen which is shut away within
a wardrobe so you don't have to look at your washing up. Our kitchen
had the addition of a coffee machine and the teas were from Camellia's Tea House which made me happy as their tea is very good indeed.
There
was a desk and chair, plus an additional seat. And a small recycling
bin hints at the hotel's green credentials as it has received green
tourism awards.
The large TV was programmed for my stay so had a
welcome message and my personal wifi log-in details. The 'guest
information' was also all accessed via the TV and there was even a
pillow menu.
The air-conditioning was a treat as we stayed on one
of the hottest days of the year and it was fun to be able to walk to the
Natural History Museum. We managed to avoid all of the long queues as
we arrived there just after 5pm and still had time to have a look
around, although not to see everything.
There are plenty of grocery stores within walking distance from the hotel including a large supermarket under five minutes away.
Our
room was quiet at night but there was a small gap under the door so I
could see the corridor light all night. It didn't bother me though and
we both slept well.

Check-in and check-out times are the busiest
at the hotel Reception so try to avoid 2pm and 11am. If you arrive
before your room is ready, or have more time to explore London after
checking-out, staff are able to store your luggage safely.
I found all the staff really friendly and I spoke to other guests who were pleased at the reasonable room rates.
