The Ocean House Is Opening a Secret Champagne Garden This Summer

You can bet the Veuve Clicquot will be flowing.

The Ocean House, the grande dame of Watch Hill, Rhode Island that's widely considered one of the world's best hotels, is about to get even more upscale.

On May 26 the hotel will unveil its Secret Garden, a lounge open to both guests and locals that will feature Veuve Clicquot champagnes including Rich, the newest from the brand, which is designed to be poured over ice (the trendy way to drink it).

Expect fancy versions of summer classics—like a lobster roll with grinnell caviar and a Rhode Island wiener dog dressed up with meat sauce—alongside champagne cocktails. The full menu is online here.

"The Ocean House team continues to up the ante for guests this summer," Daniel A. Hostettler, president and group managing director of Ocean House Management, LLC, tells T&C exclusively. "Following the completion of our multi-million dollar guest-room renovation, the Secret Garden is a perfect addition in the Watch Hill community for guests to enjoy the art of cocktail culture without ever having to leave the resort."
And who knows, you might catch Ocean House neighbor Taylor Swift popping over for a glass of bubbly.

The Ocean House Secret Garden will be open to guests and visitors 21 and older from Wednesday through Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
