Napa Valley, which hasn't seen a new luxury hotel in seven years, has just welcomed Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel. Serving as a sister property to the popular Las Alcobas Mexico City (widely regarded as the city's chicest boutique hotel), the 68-room property, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, fittingly incorporates some south-of-the-border touches, including amenities like alebrijes (Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures), and the brand philosophy of sobremesa, the act of staying together after a meal to interact with family and friends.

The centerpiece of the property, Acacia House, is a renovation of a historic 1905 Georgian residence and features a restaurant helmed by Top Chef Master Chris Cosentino plus six additional guest rooms. Fireplace-equipped terraces, outdoor soaking tubs, and views of the Beringer Winery next door are just a few other reasons to book your room ASAP.
