Who doesn’t love a beach holiday? So why wait for summer to roll around before you venture to the seaside? There are so many beaches in the world to visit – some of them with such good weather that you can visit all year round. A bonus is that most of these beaches are located in budget travel destinations. Here’s a list of some of the best beaches in the world that you can visit no matter the time of year.

Matira Beach, Bora Bora, French Polynesian Islands

Bora Bora offers opportunities for both the adventurous and the not-so-adventurous. Visitors can choose to sleep in bungalows on the water or in a more traditional land-founded hotel. Either destination allows them to watch the sunset over the beautiful clear waters.

Seven Mile Beach, Negril, Jamaica

A simple but very appropriate name perfectly describes this long beach of white sand and stunning waters. Along the beach are large cliffs for visitors to stare out over the ocean, or if they’re really brave, to attempt cliff-diving.

El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

The name of this beach translated to English means “the nest.” Maybe it’s because the land encircling the gorgeous lagoons makes it look like there are several birds nests. This very exclusive beach is owned by only one resort that consists of 16 private Vales, all surrounded by a breathtaking lagoon. This resort is only open to adults. The atmosphere is described as extremely laid-back with great food that visitors can eat out under the Banyan trees or as a picnic on the beach.

Mahai’ula Beach, Hawai’i

This rather unusual beach has an interesting lava trail for visitors to hike and see how the lava traveled in previous volcanic eruptions. There are also quiet and peaceful beaches for those who prefer to be out of the tourist crowd. This secluded beach is accessible only by sand road and is part of the Kekaha Kai State Park.

Anakena Beach, Easter Island, Chile

The mystery of Easter Island is one of its strongest attractions for visitors from around the world. You can check out the impressive Easter Island statues and hear about the local history. There are also wonders to be discovered beneath the sea surface for diving enthusiasts.

Cable Beach, Broome, Australia

A beach that dwarfs the Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica is the 13.5-mile Cable Beach in Australia. Red cliffs overhang this lengthy beach and give the whole area an interesting color at sunset. This is the perfect time to take a camel ride along the beach.

Anse Source d’Argent, La Digue Island, Seychelles

This place’s name may be difficult to pronounce but it’s certainly not difficult to visit. Anse Source d’Argent is known for its wide biodiversity that can be seen in the reefs and lagoons. Divers and snorkelers can spot anything from green sea turtles to the black reef shark. And travel on the island is eco-friendly too, consisting mostly of bicycles.
