Turkey

Turkey is all the rage this fall and winter, experiencing an incredible 310 percent growth in year-over-year bookings among U.S. travelers, according to Virtuoso. The destination also offers remarkable value for Americans at the moment as the Turkish lira is down against the dollar.

Egypt

Despite its recent tourism struggles in wake of political unrest, Americans are buzzing over Egypt, which has seen a 264 percent rise in year-over-year bookings. Only Turkey has seen a larger percentage of growth.

India isn't far behind Morocco in terms of year-over-year growth in bookings among Americans, cementing itself as a destination on the rise thanks to its similarly impressive historic sites and many cultural experiences. Bookings to India are up 128 percent year-over-year.

The lone Caribbean representative in the Virtuoso Hot 10, the Cayman Islands has seen 124 percent growth in year-over-year bookings among Americans. In addition to its phenomenal weather and beaches, the British territory is a premier destination for adventure and wellness.

Fall and winter in America coincide with spring and summer in Brazil, making the South American country an easy choice for luxury travelers in search of warmer weather. Brazil might not be on everyone's radar just yet. Nonetheless, it's experienced a sizable 92 percent year-over-year growth in bookings among upscale Americans.
