Even if you are not a Disney geek, you might be lying if you said that you have never dreamed of swimming towards the endless horizon Little Mermaid-style, accompanied by the love of your life. While having a Little Mermaid-inspired ceremony is always an option, pulling off a beachy vibe with no beach in sight may not end in the fairy tale wedding you had hoped for. Head to the fifth floor, where the pool deck and the stunning saltwater infinity pool are located, and you will witness one of the best views over the famed beach. Tying the knot here at sunset would be nothing short of breathtaking, and if you still want to swim toward the endless horizon, you can certainly do so post-ceremony.

Planning on eloping? The property offers wedding packages (prices start at $2,900) that include a non-denominational officiant, a Hawaiian keepsake certificate, and even aloha-inspired wedding décor such as a fresh flower petal path, a lei for the groom, and a bridal bouquet. Basically, all you have to do is show up and say, "I do."

All of this would be enough to hook any bride and groom, but the dining options at Alohilani are also next level. Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is opening two Asian restaurants, Morimoto Asia Waikiki and Momosan Waikiki, that serve exceptional Asian fusion cuisine. Think dim sum, freshly-carved Peking duck, and classic izakaya-style rice dishes. For Hawaiian brunch and live music, head to the restaurant Lychee, but better make a reservation beforehand since it's quite the hot spot. 

Then after the wedding of your Ariel dreams, just drive up to the pristine North Shore of Oahu to explore beaches and hikes. What a way to start your life as a married couple.
