Wynwood Arts District
[post_ads]This vibrant arts community is home to a number of great bars, restaurants, and shops in addition to art galleries. Head over to the Wynwood Walls for endless Instagram-friendly backdrops or explore the neighborhood to catch the works of muralists from around the world. Although it's always a good time to check out the area, Wynwood really comes to life every second Saturday of the month for its Art Walk.
South Beach
This iconic area is everything you'd imagine it to be: tiny bikinis, white-sand beaches, and an energy like no other. Expect large crowds to cover South Beach, but once you're there, you'll learn that it's the people that make Florida's most famous beach so great.
Ocean Drive
You can't visit Miami Beach without walking down Ocean Drive, which runs parallel to South Beach. Art deco buildings, flashy cars, and abundant restaurants make up this bustling area. To allow yourself to soak it all in, I recommend renting a Citi Bike instead of walking. There's plenty of drop-off points in between.

Little Havana
Get a taste of Cuba in Miami's very own Little Havana, where you'll be able to find cafe Cubanos, Cuban cigars, and authentic fare. Be sure to check out Calle Ocho in the heart of the neighborhood — the cultural hub is known for its bakeries, restaurants, and landmarks.
Biscayne Bay
Water-sports enthusiasts will especially love Biscayne Bay, located between Miami Beach and the mainland. Visitors have the option of kayaking, kite-surfing, flyboarding, and more. For the less adventurous, the area also offers a number of great restaurants and shopping.

Pérez Art Museum Miami
Miami's flagship art museum, Pérez Art Museum Miami (or PAMM), highlights modern and contemporary international art. Not only are the pieces on display worth checking out alone, but the museum's waterfront restaurant, views of Biscayne Bay, and unique hanging gardens also make visiting a must.
Sunny Isles Beach
Located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Sunny Isles Beach is the perfect escape. Although you get waterfront skyscrapers in exchange, you'll be able to enjoy a two-mile stretch of sand and turquoise waters free of crowds. Relax on the beach, snorkel, or visit the landmark fishing pier.

Coconut Grove
The historic Coconut Grove is Miami's oldest neighborhood that offers boutique shopping, outdoor cafes, and museums, including the Vizcaya estate (shown above). This laid-back and charming area also hosts monthly events that turn The Grove into a vibrant festival center.
Nikki Beach
If you're looking to party, head over to this hidden gem in South Beach. The oceanfront beach club features a restaurant complete with cabanas and lounge beds that are complimentary for patrons. Relax under the palm trees while sipping on a cocktail or make your way to the beach that's only steps away. The festivities really begin when the sun goes down and Nikki Beach turns into a DJ hot spot.
