17 Ridiculously Luxurious All-Inclusive Resorts

By Katie Robinson, Town and Country

When you hear the term all-inclusive, are you immediately skeptical? We get it. Places that offer "package deals" tend to conjure images of big box hotels, bland buffet food, and a seemingly unlimited flow of sugary frozen cocktails. But believe it or not, a handful of more, shall we say, refined hotels offer all-inclusive pricing that caters to well-heeled travelers—and they don't come cheap. From unlimited spa treatments and butlers, to fine dining and yoga on the beach, here are the properties that do it best.

Twin Farms, Vermont

Nestled in the middle of a lush Vermont landscape, this hidden valley resort has four accommodation options and provides fine dining, wine, and spirits throughout your all-inclusive stay. Guests must be over 16 years of age, but dogs are okay so you're welcome to have your pet pampered too. The adult-only atmosphere and vacancy during all seasons makes Twin Farms the perfect honeymoon getaway or romantic retreat for two.

The Brando, Tahiti

Located on its very own private island in the middle of the French Polynesia, you can't "getaway" farther than this. Pricing includes a beachfront villa, meals and alcohol, 24-hour villa service, one guided island excursion, one spa treatment, all beach equipment, and a bicycle. It may also include sightings of newlyweds Pippa Middleton and James Matthews who are currently here on their honeymoon. The only thing the rate doesn't include is the supplementary airfare to fly to the island.

Gili Lankanfushi, The Maldives

"Paradise" doesn't cover the half of it. Upon arrival, you'll be introduced to your butler, who tends to all your needs—even if one of those needs is to babysit the young ones for a couple hours. Enjoy Tuesday cocktail parties, daily yoga sessions, and champagne with breakfast. The fare also includes a roundtrip speedboat transfer from the airport.

andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, Botswana, Africa

A wild, African escape with experiences ranging from Safari tours to river boat excursions. But for those less inclined to adventure, the resort is certainly nothing short of luxurious. With your stay you receive complimentary meals and alcohol, laundry, safari activities, and roundtrip airport transfers. And with six accommodation options, andBeyond is perfect for both honeymooners or families.

Explora Resort, Sacred Valley, Peru

In the mountainous valley where the Inca first settled, you'll find Explora's Sacred Valley resort. And while some resorts claim to be "all-inclusive," Explora spares no expense for its guests. From guided landscape explorations to local Peruvian wines, South American cuisine, and airport transport, this all-inclusive resort provides it all.

Canyon Ranch, Massachusetts

This family-friendly, health-conscious resort runs things a little differently. You'll be allotted a set amount of credit to spend on whatever activities you choose, such as spa, sports, or health and healing services. So if you'd rather get a blowout than, say, meet with a spiritual therapist, the resort leaves it up to you. Additionally, you'll receive hands-on cooking classes, daily meals, guided hikes, and sunrise yoga, as well as airport transportation.

Song Saa Private Island, Cambodia

Song Saa uses its beautiful Cambodian surroundings to enhance wellness. With their "no walls" motto, you can hear the waves as your masseuse kneads your back, or relish the silence of the river during meditation with a reiki master. With so many spa options, there's no better place to connect with your spiritual side. Kids are welcome—depending on whether you enjoy trying to meditate with your child on the loose. You'll also receive unlimited snacks, three meals a day at the on-property restaurants, and unlimited spirits and wine. What more could you ask for?

Little St. Simons Island Resort, Georgia

If you're looking for a quaint getaway and are a die-hard animal conservationist, St. Simons is the place for you. On site there are seven "naturalists"—equivalent to nature superstars—who lead guests on educational island tours twice a day. Also included in your stay are daily meals with alcohol served at lunch and dinner, as well as a roundtrip boat transfer from the airport to the island.

Paws Up Resort, Montana

Paws Up lets you customize your entire experience. Whether you enjoy camping or "glamping," a family trip or romance retreat, a three-meal-a-day protocol or unlimited meals, this resort has all the feels. With your stay you receive a base all-inclusive package, but you also have the opportunity to opt for another with more amenities, should you so choose.

Uga Chena Huts Resort, Sri Lanka

Only fourteen villas reside in this slice of Sri Lankan heaven—located in Yala National Park—which makes it the perfect nesting location for honeymooners. You'll have access to morning and evening game drives, a daily re-stocked mini bar, laundry service, and three meals at Basses restaurant on site.

Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand

Choose from one of the hotel's 10 packages that all truly define the term "all-inclusive." Each option provides meals and alcoholic beverages, a 90-minute spa treatment per person, access to the in-room bar, nightly wine and cheese tastings, nightly drinks at Burma Bar, an excursion on the Mekong River, training with elephants, and round-trip airport transfers. Is that all? No—depending on your choice, an elephant ride, a visit to the Hall of Opium, or a visit to Myanmar may also be included in your package.

Fowl Cay Resort, Bahamas

With a multitude of two or three bedroom villas to choose from, this resort is ideal for group retreats or family excursions. Fowl Cay provides you with everything a vacationer could ever wish for. With your own golf cart to travel the grounds, you'll also enjoy provided meals, swim gear, various games, and plenty island activities. The best part? Your villa comes with its very own boat to buzz around the island with.

The Point Resort, New York

In the midst of a six-million-acre park that stretches from upstate New York to Canada, the Point gives guests the ultimate "glamping" experience—with fancy log cabins in lieu of tents and black tie suggested as dinner attire on Wednesday and Saturday nights. For the most part this resort remains adult-exclusive, but children are welcome if a family buys out the whole property. Enjoy a woodside cabin or a waterfront boathouse, all with access to sports equipment and facilities. Also included are all meals, afternoon tea, and wines and spirits.

Laucala Resort, Fiji

This Fiji resort is ideal for a relaxing, stress-free vacation—and frankly, doing minimal activity. Bask on the yoga deck right outside your beachside villa. If you're feeling peckish, head to one of the five restaurants and bars on site. Fine dining can take a lot out of you so you might cash in on your included 90 minute spa treatment. If it's more of an active day, make use of the complimentary golf, tennis, horseback riding, and water sport amenities. With everything included and no trap doors—plus free-flowing booze—this resort is the epitome of tranquility where the most strenuous activity you'll endure is getting through your airport terminal.

Blanket Bay Resort, New Zealand

At Blanket Bay, each guest receives access to sports facilities and equipment, a daily cocktail hour, an a la carte breakfast, dinner, and one lunch throughout their stay. Which are fairly standard, as far as all-inclusives are concerned. However, Blanket Bay's sweeping mountain views are second to none. Honeymooners and families alike can enjoy the beauty of New Zealand and unique activities for supplementary costs such as trail rides, golf, heli-skiing, fly fishing, and more.

Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel, Mexico

Time to leave the kids at home—Blue Diamond is an adult-only spot. With two golf courses, three fine dining restaurants, a view of the crystal-blue Caribbean waters, and close proximity to Mayan ruins, this place is an adult luxury playground. Services across all rooms include meals, unlimited international calls, a snorkeling trip, and a Mayan Temazcal Session.

Hotel Tannenhof, Austria

Tannenhof's cabin-chic suites all have private balconies that allow you to gaze at the beautiful Austrian mountains from sunrise to sunset. At this adult-only resort, its mountainous surroundings are its greatest appeal during any season, whether you're hiking rocky trails or skiing down the Alps. The rate covers breakfast, shuttle service into town, unlimited spa use, and a free Arlberg summer card that includes various activities, from golfing to the St. Anton museum.
