Antarctica
For snowbirds, a trip to the coldest continent on the planet is the ultimate getaway. Many cruise lines invite you to travel the very ends of the earth, where you'll spot penguins, seals, whales, and so much more. The intrepid traveler can even show off their cold-weather chops with a frosty polar bear plunge into the icy seas. Although not technically a country of its own, the continent does offer visitors souvenir stamps in their passports. And yes, it is a picture of a penguin, which pretty much makes it the coolest passport stamp ever.
The Arctic Circle
Climb aboard an icebreaker, and explore the wondrous facets of the Arctic Circle, from staggering fjords to sparkling glaciers. You can drink in the Midnight Sun, journey along early paths of the ancient Vikings, and even catch a glimpse the Northern Lights. The Northwest Passage
The Northwest Passage — the route that connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the Canadian Arctic Archipelago — offers cruisers a spectacular journey through natural icy wonders. Retrace the steps of many early explorers, and cross into the Arctic Circle on this iconic route, where you'll visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites, charming fishing villages, geological wonders, and more. It's a journey into one of the most remote areas in the world, where the wilderness is untamed and the sights are truly breathtaking. Alaska
Although tropical locales like Florida tend to get a lot of the glory, America's 49th state has been an incredibly popular cruise destination for years — and for good reason.
