A trip to Dubai isn’t complete without snapping a photo
of the world’s tallest building. With more than 160 stories and the
highest outdoor observation deck in the world (At the Top), this just might qualify as your snap of a lifetime.

Think deserts are just a big pile of dust? We beg to
differ. Aside from traversing the dunes on buggies and camels, you can
also head in just before sunset for an intimate family dinner. With no city lights or buildings to obstruct your view, the sunset (and stars!) are mind-blowing.

Dubai Creek

This historic waterway
serves as the city’s center of commerce and allows visitors to learn
about the culture of Old Dubai over the past 40 years. Simply buy a
ticket, ride an abra (a traditional wooden boat) across the creek and let yourself soak in the museums, souks and restaurants.
The Dubai Fountain
Located at the Dubai Mall on the 30-acre Burj Lake, this isn’t your average waterworks show. A total of 900 feet in length, the Dubai Fountain is
the world’s largest (yup, another world record) choreographed fountain.
It “performs” in conjunction with lights and music, so you should most
definitely switch to video mode for this one.

Burj Al Arab
If this isn’t fit for a postcard, we don’t know what is. One of the many luxurious Jumeirah hotels, the Burj Al Arab’s distinctive sail-shaped structure is iconic in modern Dubai. (Psst, for a better look at the bright-blue waters, head to the very top of the hotel to visit the Skyview Bar.)
Dubai Miracle Garden
OK, we’ll cut right to the chase. This place literally screams Instagram. The Dubai Miracle Garden holds
a Guinness World Record (welp, no surprise there) for the largest
flower arrangement with over a whopping 100 million blooms.

360° Lounge
If you’re looking for panoramic views of Dubai, set out to the open-air 360° Lounge located
at the end of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel walkway. From here you can also
see the Burj Al Arab up close and personal. Word of advice? We highly
recommend calling ahead and making a reservation.
