Steps from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theater, sits, the Hilton London Bankside, one of London's newest hotels that's keen on design. Conceptualized by Dexter Moren Associates and design studio twenty2degrees, sought to give each of the 292 guest rooms an "urban industrial with a luxury twist" while 25 of the rooms were morphed into bespoke suites and penthouses. Take a look inside one that is primed to gentlemanly perfection.

While the exterior of the building is Brutalist in form, aligning with its urban Bankside location, the interior of the lush penthouses reflects the juxtapositions found within the thriving area. Gorgeous velvet seating is combined with modern tables and contemporary art for a striking, sophisticated look.

No penthouse would be complete without a proper dining area and this small marble-topped table is suitable for an in-room dinner for two. A classic marble-topped table adds a masculine touch but softened by velvet armchairs.

In the bedroom, rich wall panelling creates a cozy, masculine environment. Abstract art, amber lighting and bold throw pillows finish off the unique sleeping area, while a mauve velvet couch adds a sophisticated sitting nook.
