The window. The aisle is for the photographers and sleepers.Check or carry-on?
Carry-on only. I travel too much to be bothered with waiting for a checked bag. Less is more. Favorite souvenir from your travels?
A painting from an outdoor bazaar in Rio. I was studying abroad and would just admire it every Sunday because it was out of my budget. On my last weekend, the artist sold it to me at a fraction of the cost because he said he would rather a beautiful woman who truly loved the painting enjoy it every day than sell it for more money.
The painting is vaguely of two people leaning in, almost kissing. It reminds me to be patient, and that love triumphs over money. I've always been very career oriented, but passion has slowly taken the purpose of my life.
Most romantic hotel?
The Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, where the San Lucas Presidential Suite has a private spa and multiple balconies overlooking the ocean. For mountains, castles, and lakes check out the Hotel Park on Lake Bled in Slovenia. For wellness, try the holistic Santa Teresita Hotel & Spa in Guatemala.Most romantic meal?
Does a picnic in the forest count? Although, the most unforgettable restaurant experience I've encountered was in a forest. The Den Røde Cottage outside of Copenhagen uses fresh local ingredients in a way I haven't tasted.
And there is nothing like eating in Istria, Croatia. It's close to the sea and known for its olive oil, and the cuisine puts a Mediterranean twist on traditional pastas, risottos, and locally farmed ingredients. I suggest visiting the cities of Pula, Rovinj, and Grožnjan City. Also, I'd suggest taking a cooking class with your significant other in Thailand. Nothing says, "I love you," like turning on the heat in the kitchen!

Get the apps for your airline, your bank, and the destination's local form of transit (whether that's Uber, Lyft, or Amtrak). I also love Cortex Camera, which allows you to imitate professional photography on your smartphone.In-flight beauty tips?
Drink lots of water since flights cause dehydration. I carry my toiletries in my carry-on so that I can remove my make-up and re-do it before arrival.
