Best for families – Singapore
The Night Safari is a must-see, giving adults and children a chance to see nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. Right next door is River Safari, a wildlife park boasting the world’s largest freshwater aquarium and a pair of adorable giant pandas.
Eating well is a national obsession in Singapore. From 27 to 30 September, Resorts World in Sentosa, an island off Singapore’s southern coast, will be hosting The Great Food Festival where renowned chefs from the around the world will perform their culinary magic.
After a wholesome meal, burn off the calories by cycling around Pulau Ubin. Billed as the last kampong (village) in Singapore, this rustic island is crisscrossed with cycling and walking trails.
